John Grill was born in Australia in 1945. He is married and is a father of two children. He acquired his graduation education in civil engineering from the University of Sydney. Later, in 1968, he joined Esso Australia. In 1971, Grill moved to a civil engineering company, Wholohan Grill and Partners, to be appointed as its Chief Executive Officer. In 1987, he initiated his business of Worley Engineering proprietary limited in Australia. Itis the largest project management and engineering firm of Australia, operating in nearly forty countries worldwide.In 2002, the company was mentioned in Australian Stock Exchange’s list, Grill being its largest stakeholder. Two years later, in 2004, Worley acquired a US-based global project services company, Parsons E&C Corporation. In the following years, the company merged with various other parties to transform into Worley Parsons. John grill is enormously respected in the field of media. He was honored with the title of Engineers Australia Professional Engineer of the Year in 2006.
