Emma bought Business Chicks when she was in her mid-twenties and expanded it to what it is today that is a global enterprise operating in two continents, eleven cities and producing greater than hundred events on an annual basis, having the honor of renowned speakers like Seth Godin, Kate Hudson, Sir Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Sir Bob Geldof, Dr. Brene Brown, Diane von Furstenberg, Jamie Oliver and many more.

She is a serial property investor and has risen about more than twelve million Australian dollars for charity. Emma has been awarded as the Entrepreneur of the year in 2012. Furthermore, she won the Telstra Business Women’s Award in the year 2015. She has been titled as one of the most influential female entrepreneurs among the nine influential ones by the Sydney Morning Herald in 2016.

She is the author of the book “Winging it,” which was published not too long ago in 2018.

Priorly, Emma served as the president of the Sydney chapter of Entrepreneur’s organization. She has also been on the board for The Hunger Project.

When asked, she says she has gained her entrepreneurial spirit from the notion of being independent her grandfather has taught her as a child. Emma could read and write before she started school and was more eager to take part in sports and extra-curricular activities than books.

Emma lives in Sydney with her entrepreneur partner and husband, Rowan, and her children. Emma has confessed that she likes to groove on the songs of Sia. She also seems to admire personalities like Rosie Patty, Michelle Obama, Helena Morrissey, Kathy Kelly, and Jackie Onassis. Apart from them, she is inspired by Sheryl Sandberg, Maria Sipka, and Narelle Anderson and Naomi Simson, who also tend to be her closest girlfriends.

Emma is very passionate when it comes to inspiring women to be bold and brave enough to take risks. When asked where she takes inspiration from, she said, she always had the navigator-function instilled within her, and that is how she knew what she wanted to do and how she wanted to do it.
